Say what you want about Jonny Depp, the man has literally done it all. From starring in blockbuster movies to playing on stage with Jeff Beck, you can say John has had a blessed existence.

Large Dave sent me an article from Greenwich Time that points out that Johnny Depp will be joining Jeff Beck in Port Chester for a couple of shows. I knew that the pair had recently released a collaborative album called "18", not my cup of tea but more power to them. Jeff Beck, according to Rolling Stone, is in the top five of the 100 Greatest Guitarists and known as a "guitarist's guitarist." I am not sure that Johnny Depp is an "actor's actor", but what a "power couple" these two can make.

These crazy kids will be performing and doing their thing on Friday, October 7th and Saturday, October 8th. Here's the Facebook post announcing the joint appearance at the Capitol Theatre in the town my girlfriend was born in, Port Chester, New York...

The article also points out that face-value tickets are all sold out, but there is hope in the secondary market right here. It's your chance to get up close and personal with two icons of the entertainment industry. The Capitol Theatre has some interesting acts and musicians coming up including Rick Springfield later this month. Checking out their website and looking them up on Google Maps, the place is not big at all and looks perfect for a nice, more personal experience with the artist who is on the stage.
