ST. IGNATIUS — CSKT Health and Fitness are partnering with Beast Athletes to prepare community members for the USPA Powerlifting meet; “Taken Back the Power.”
USPA is the largest powerlifting federation created by lifters, for lifters.
In order to best prepare lifters for a safe and successful competition, Donny Tudahl, owner of Beat Athletes, and Scott Sciaretta, USPA National Referee and the current USPA/WABDL National and World Record holder, led the seminar. They discussed the squat, bench, deadlift, and USPA-specific rules.
CSKT Health and Fitness are presently working on helping tribal competitors; they anticipate being able to cover up to 70% of the costs associated with competitors in the USPA Powerlifting event.
