KALAMAZOO, MI — Three purchase recommendations were considered and approved by the Kalamazoo Public Schools board at its June 29 meeting.

One proposal approved by the board Wednesday requested Chromebook carrying cases for 5th graders in the district. Others were for upgraded technology and security systems at the new Edison Environmental Science Academy building.
