Samsara Luggage -- a brand devoted to creating innovative travel products -- has teamed up with YouTube tech and lifestyle creator Justine Ezarik, otherwise known as iJustine. The partnership comes as part of Samsara’s new marketing strategy for its Tag Smart collection of smart luggage.

iJustine has almost 7 million monthly YouTube subscribers, with 1.3 billion views on the platform, as well as an additional 1.6 million followers on Instagram.

For the launch of its newest product –– a suitcase that includes an Apple AirTag, allowing buyers to track their piece of luggage using the Find My app on their iPhones –– Samsara is aiming to connect with iJustine’s massive online following of gadget lovers.

The partnership kicked off last Friday in the form of a YouTube unboxing video by iJustine herself.

Upon sliding the bright yellow suitcase out of its box, iJustine promptly presents viewers with a link to Samsara’s website, as well as her own special code –– “ijustine” –– while checking out to receive a packing bag set worth $50.

“We were looking to reach an audience of people that already enrich their lives through tech-savvy gadgets,” said co-founder & CEO of Samsara Luggage Atara Dzikowski in a statement. “This new partnership with iJustine aligns perfectly with our brand strategy and gets our smart luggage in front of the tastemakers and gadget lovers that could be the catalysts to make the smart luggage category mainstream.”

Designed specifically for the Apple AirTag, Samsara’s Tag Smart luggage features an interior compartment that secures the Apple device within.

The suitcase also has TSA-approved combination locks and an aluminum frame.
